Pastor Curtis Spears has been full time in ministry for over 40 years, pastoring and evangelizing, as well as guest minister in dozens of camps and conferences, including General Conference UPCI, and pastor at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle since 1992. He holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Louisiana State University, Shreveport, where he also was an instructor in psychology and general studies, and has produced the marriage counseling program, Pyramid of Love® and the Home Bible Study, The Promise!®. In addition to serving as a psychotherapist for the past two years to the mental health community, he has also produced several family and personal enrichment social programs. Together with the support of his wife Priscilla and the congregation of AFT, God’s blessings are being realized in the relocation and new church facilities on Youree Drive. Sharing the dream of growth with AFT is a personal accomplishment and spiritual fulfillment for Pastor Spears. Priscilla Spears was raised in Michigan. Her father the late William R. Starr was pastor of Albion, Mi and District Superintendent of the Michigan District UPCI. Priscilla has an Associate Degree in Legal Secretarial and has worked as a District Court Secretary. She has a few credits to go to get her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University. Priscilla travels, speaks, and sings including General Conference, camps and conferences throughout the United States. She teaches family, parenting and marriage seminars with her husband Curtis. Her biggest joy is developing children, young people and adults in their talents for the Lord. She loves people and is totally involved in the dream of growth of the Kingdom of God at AFT. Curtis and Priscilla are the happy parents of several children and grandchildren. Curt, Jr. and wife Lisa live in Texas with their two sons, Hayden and Dalton, Brittany resides in San Francisco while Ashley Joseph is in college in Michigan. Charity just completed two years of Bible college and lives in St. Louis, while Natalie returns to her second year of Bible college in Lufkin, TX. Curtis and Priscilla live in the country, on Easy St. (literally!) and enjoy gardening and spending time together on their front porch. |
